Who is RegDesk built for?
Compliance Admin Service Providers (agencies), Compliance Officers (Phase 1 / Phase 2), Financial Services Providers (Categories I, II, IIA, III, IV), Key Individuals, and Crypto Asset Service Providers. How much does RegDesk cost?
RegDesk starts at R2,949 per month for the Practitioner plan (a single FSP entity). Compliance firms managing multiple FSPs start at R5,499 per month base plus a per-FSP rate that decreases as the book scales — R1,850 per FSP (up to 5), R1,650 per FSP (6–20, the most popular tier), R1,500 per FSP (21–49). Enterprise plans for 50+ FSPs are bespoke. All plans include a 14-day free trial. Annual billing gives a 15% discount.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. RegDesk includes a 14-day free trial on all plans. You can prepare compliance documents, run a due-diligence report, and see the full workflow before committing to a paid plan.
Does RegDesk replace my compliance officer?
No. RegDesk gives your Compliance Officer or Key Individual a structured system to work from — it does not replace professional judgement or regulatory accountability. Every generated document is a first draft for a qualified person to review, adapt and sign off.
Does RegDesk support CASP (crypto) compliance?
Yes. RegDesk generates the CASP-specific document set — AML/CFT programme, Travel Rule policy giving effect to FIC Directive 9 of 2024 (implementing FATF Recommendation 16), custody and asset segregation, business-wide risk assessment, and client KYC onboarding — all aligned to the FSCA CASP Declaration (General Notice 1350 of 2022, Gazette 47334) and FIC Act Schedule 1 item 22.
Does RegDesk help with FSCA licence applications?
Yes. RegDesk prepares the full FSP1–FSP13 form set for the FSCA online licensing portal, including FSP1 (business information), FSP4A/4B/4C (fitness & propriety), FSP4D (Key Individual appointment), FSP5 (representative notification), FSP6 & FSP12 (Compliance Officer Phase 1 & 2 approval), FSP8 (financial soundness), FSP9 (external auditor) and FSP13 (exemption applications).
Where is the data hosted?
RegDesk is hosted on South African infrastructure with security practices aligned to ISO 27001. Your data does not leave South Africa. SA-ID and other identity data are encrypted at rest under AES-256-GCM with keyed HMAC-SHA256 lookups so a database snapshot alone cannot recover client identifiers.
